Norman Vincent Peale was born on 31 May 1898 in Bowersville, Ohio, United States. He was a great leader and author who inspired many people.
In 1922 he has became a Methodist minister, continued studying religion, and took his Bachelor degree of Sacred Theology and an M.A in social ethics from Boston University.
Norman took the resposibilty of managing the Marble Collegiate Church for 52 years after changing his religious association to the Reformed Church in America in 1932.
Norman and his friend Smiley Blanton, founded a clinic for religio-psychiatric diseases that became known as the American Foundation of Religion and Psychiatry in the beginning of 50th of the last century.
In 1935, Norman had a radio program called The Art of Living that had been presented for 54 years. This program was also broadcasted on television when the medium became available.
‘The Power of Positive Thinking‘ was released in 1952 and since that time it has sold over 15 million copies as well as it has been the New York Times Best seller list for 186 weeks. This powerful book offers strategies to beat stress, worry and self-doubt.
